Making a project with sewn fabric is best for clothing, bags, and other smaller projects - for blankets, look at the Quilting page!
Tips and Tricks
Don't be afraid to remove your stitches and start over again. It's disappointing in the moment, but it creates a much better final project if you take your time and fix your mistakes as you go.

If you're working from a pattern, make sure you read the instructions entirely before starting.

And finally: measure twice, cut (and sew) once!
