When to Use
Cross stitch creates a unique work of art that can be used as a wall hanging, or as something to prop up on a desk. Some people also use the cross-stitching style to decorate finished sewing projects as they would with embroidery.
Tips and Tricks
If you accidentally stitch a lighter color where a darker one is supposed to go, though, you may be able to simply stitch over the mistake later. Although it is possible to design your own cross stitching pattern, it is very complicated - most people use kits.
